another monday

Thank you to everyone who donated! I was couldnt believe how many checks came in today! We ran a little more than 3 tonight. Dixie ran awesome! We even did a little time on Portsmouth Blvd. The rain wasnt too bad. My shoes and clothes are soaked but its not a big deal. We dont run again until Thursday and it should be cold again! Saturday starts my group runs with J & A, it should be fun!

Today was COLD! I took Dixie with me because she loves to run in the cold. I'm glad I purchased new tights yesterday at Running Etc. They kept my legs super warm and should help prevent injury. I also ran in a new pair of New Balance 760 shoes. They were awesome! I went up a size since I am adding more mileage to my runs. Next Saturday I start running with the group from J & A Racing. Sorry! Here's Thursday's run. I ran early so I could get to grandmom's to eat! The weather was nice and we ran quick!

Rain rain go away! I should have ran this morning but I woke up too late. It's raining hard tonight so I went to the gym. I am going to run tomorrow. Tomorrow mornings run is below.

Saturday's Run

Todays run wasnt to bad. Nice day. Beth rode her bike next to me and Dixie didnt want to stop. Glad tomorrows a rest day!




Thursday's Run

Thursday was ok. It was almost 65 when Dixie and I set out. I purchased a vest to run in at night. After almost getting hit Monday, I decided to get a reflective vest. I had to take it off after a mile because it was so hot! Looking forward to Saturday's run.

1st Day Short Run

Today's run was easy. I ran with Dixie my black lab who will be doing all the short runs with me. She loves to run and goes crazy when I put my running shoes on. Now that its dark after work I am going to get her a reflective vest.
